We’ve been doing this podcast for 2 years, this month. This book was written by Justin Achilli, Rose Bailey, Matthew McFarland, and Eddy Webb for White Wolf publishing and released October 21st, 2011. I don’t suspect anyone will be shocked about what we think of this game and book. It’s no secret that V20 has been a major factor in revitalizing this game for many old school players. We definitely review V20, but more than that, we talk about how V20 has impacted us as gamers and podcasters. I know why we all call it V20 now! Anyways, this podcast is a tiny bit non-traditional. Wow, that is a really long title to a book, if you think about it. Let us find instruction from amidst the lies, together. Some of what they say have no facts to back them up, but not everything is a lie, either. Sometimes the narrators present tantalizing rumors and conspiracies, while others digress into areas not often considered by many. They may line up with other things you know, or they might not. But the best lies are those that are told between two truths, yes? Here are thirteen such truths, childe. But not one of them has a pamphlet with clear, easy instructions once you’ve become Damned. A few smother their instruction in religious imperatives, philosophical tenets, or mystical confluences. Some vampires don’t even bother, kicking their errant progeny to the streets and letting them figure it out for themselves. Many sires spill a lot of poison into the ears of their childer, telling them the One True Way to be a vampire. My sire always told me, “There’s no instruction manual for being dead, strákur.” I believed her, because she was older and smarter than me, and we value knowledge if nothing else.
